Transportation
Cagnes is easily reachable by train. Of course if you live outside Europe you should take a plane to Nice first and then travel by either train or bus. Another popular transportation method is by own vehicle.
Get in
By train
The train depot, Gare SNCF , lies in Cagnes-Ville (the more commercial part of town) at avenue de la
Gare. It serves trains that run along the Mediterranean coast, with arrivals every hour from both Nice and Cannes.
By bus
Buses from Nice and Cannes stop at Cagnes-Ville and at Béal/Les Collettes, within walking distance o
Cros-de-Cagnes. The climb from Cagnes-Ville to Haut-de-Cagnes is strenuous; a free minibus runs daily about every 30 minutes year-round from place du General-de-Gaulle in the center of Cagnes-Ville to Haut-de-Cagnes.
By car
By car from any of the coastal cities of Provence, follow the A8 coastal highway, exiting at Cagnes-
sur-Mer/Cros-de-Cagnes.
Get around
Cagnes is a relatively small town, and as such it can be covered on foot quite easily. However you can choose to drive around the city, but be careful in Haut-de-Cagnes as the streets are much more narrow and driving isn’t advisable.
